YWCA Charity Run in Pattaya Preparatory Meeting

Khun Rankert Ekasing The Deputy Mayor of Pattaya presided over a meeting at Pattaya City Hall to discuss preparations for a charity event that will take place on Pattaya Beach Road on the 21st of June.

The event is the YWCA Charity run and will see competitors doing two round trips from a starting point in front of Central Festival Pattaya Beach to the Amari Hotel a distance of about 3 Km. Competitors can walk or run the course and the event will benefit the coffers of the Bangkok-Pattaya YWCA Centre.

The YWCA will use the proceeds to buy medical equipment for Banglamung Hospital and for building classrooms for Kindergartens. The event will take place in the cool of the afternoon starting at 5pm and entry tickets are 350 Baht. Although this event is for the YWCA there is no official dress code but if you want to turn out in an American Indian costume, wearing a plastic construction workers hat or just come naturally as a gay biker then I am sure the organisers will not object.
