Pattaya Police Eagle Patrols

A press conference was held at Pattaya Police station presided over by Police Major General Kacha Commander of Chonburi Regional police force. Major General Kacha was accompanied by Police Colonel Supachai senior officer at Pattaya Police station along with senior police officers from Banglamung, Nongprue and Na Jomtien.

The officers gave details of a new effort to implement crime prevention and crime suppression in the Pattaya area. The new effort dubbed "Eagle Patrol" will see an increase in patrol officers and police volunteers out on the streets of Pattaya and adjoining jurisdictions.

The "Eagle Patrol" has already been trialed in Chonburi and Sriracha and has been deemed a great success seeing a significant increase in arrests and reductions in crime. 200 extra officers have been equipped and trained to get out on the streets and be in a position to act as a rapid response team to supplement the existing officers in their day to day policing tasks.
