Thai parents spend a fortune on extra curricular classes to make their smart kids into virtual geniuses. The smart kids spend hours after school crammed into class rooms playing games on their mobile phones whilst over paid smart lecturers attempt to instill extra smartness into their smart phone wielding students.
Now the parents have another way to spend even more money on their kids in helping to develop the brains of their darling offspring before they are even born.
A meeting was held at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital where medical professionals, obstetricians and hopeful prospective parents got together with a group who claimed to be able to pass on "Touch" techniques whilst the baby is in the womb they demonstrated techniques that would enhance brain development and enhanced organ and body growth of the future tiny Thai tots during the whole period of pregnancy.
Creating a Smart Thai baby - an oxymoron or perhaps Thais celebrate April 1st a little later in the year than we do in the West.
