A Norwegian national was admitted to the emergency ward at a Pattaya hospital after sustaining serious knife wounds to his chest. He was blleding heavily from stab wounds to his rib cage.
Staff at The All Seasons Hotel in Central Pattaya had transported Mr. Stinson aged 43 to Pattaya Memorial Hospital after there had been an altercation at the hotel between Mr. Stinson and his wife. They had been arguing for several days and it culminated in a physical fight between the two. The fight became violent and ended up with his wife stabbing him three times in the chest.
It appears that the fight began when Mr. Stinson refused point blank to return to Norway with his wife.
Mrs Stinson did not accompany her husband to hospital. The authorities are in the process of interviewing Mrs. Stinson and are also waiting to see if Mr. Stinson wishes to press charges against his well miffed missis.
