Progress in Englishman Shot in Pattaya

Pattaya Police announced the progress or rather lack of progress in the case of the English guy shot in the face in Jomtien last week.

Mr. Andrew Alexandar aged 41 is continuing to make good progress when he was lucky enough to be shot in the left cheek by an unknown but known assailant. Lucky to be shot in the cheek - yes two inches to the left and he would not have been so lucky he would probably be dead.

The police said that they were in the process of seeking an arrest warrant from Pattaya Provincial Court for the unknown shooter who escaped the scene in a pick-up truck and is now thought to be in hiding up-country with his Thai wife.

Immigration Police have been put on the alert and will stop the man if he attempts to leave Thailand over a land sea or air border.

The police think that there had been an altercation between the Englishman who was shot and the Englishman who they think they don't know the identity of. Meanwhile Mr. Alexander is not talking either. Maybe because of his facial wounds or maybe that he is worried that his unknown attacker might get a little pistol practise in before they meet again.
