Russia Kicks out Finland in Jomtien Beach Football Competition

Finland for many years was the north west vassal state of the mighty Soviet Union. Finns and Ruskies were not the best of pals. Nowadays Russia and Finland are no longer joined at the hip but old rivalries continue. Jomtien Beach saw a cold war confrontation flare up in more warmer climes when Finland and Russia were matched against each other in the Jomtien Beach Football Competition.

As expected the Russians came out winners kicking four goals to finishing tally for the Finnish team of a single goal and kicking sand in their old rival's faces.

With the sun setting over Jomtien Beach a few hours and a few bottles of vodka later old rivalries were soon forgotten as was who had won the beach football match.
