Khun Buphapha and her team of inspectors from the Pattaya Department of Public Health and Environment did a little mystery shopping this week in Pattaya this week. Their destination was no mystery but what they were buying would remain a mystery until the eagle eyed inspectors had checked out every item from the check out.
Big C Extra Central Pattaya was today's target and with the help of the helpful Bic Staff they soon headed to the check out with their random selection of goods. Products sold to the public must meet stringent standards, contain products as advertised, be of the correct weight as indicated and not have exceeded their sell by date. It's two or three years since they visited Big C Extra and the store got the thumbs up from the expert inspectors from the Pattaya Department of Public Health and Environment.
I visit Big C Extra regularly and the only thing I have seen that is well past the sell buy date is well....Me - when I look in the mirror.
