Chonburi Rescue workers rushed to a construction site after receiving a report of an injured worker. At the site of the Koh Kim Condo project in Moo1 of Klong Thamru in Muang District of Chonburi they found the badly injured Cambodian worker Mr. Klai aged 25 laying amongst a pile of rubble on the ground floor. He was unconscious and they rushed him to Chonburi Hospital for emergency treatment.
Three fellow workers said that they were enjoying a drink on the 5th floor of the building when Mr Klai got up to go and take a leak. He was pretty drunk, lost his footing and dissapeared through a hole and plummeted 5 storys to the ground colliding with some steel bars on the way down which partially broke his fall.
No word as yet on the condition of Mr. Klai lets hope he wakes up with nothing more than a bad headache.
