At around 7am on the 11th of November it was reported that a monkey had been found badly injured after it had been electrocuted when it came into contact with electrical cables on a light pole outside the Sattahip Naval Base.
A local lady Khun Naruda said that the monkey had been there for a while hanging around a local shrine and would approach local houses for food. It was the first time that they had seen the monkey climb the light pole and attempt it's Aeriel acrobatics which tragically had a shocking result.
Local residents took care of the injured primate wrapped it in a bag and transported it to a local Veterinary hospital for emergency treatment.
