At 2.30 am on the 1st of August Pattaya Police were informed that citizens had helped to catch and detain a foreigner who was allegedly trying to cheat a pair of ladyboys out of money due to them for sexual services duly delivered.
The scene was outside a bar in soi Yensabai. The foreigner detained by the citizens and the ladyboys was about 30-40 years old and claimed to be an Argentinian from Buenos Aries. The Ladyboys Prichart aged 31 and Jakrapong aged 20 were quite upset because the foreigner had refused to pay the 3,000 Baht fee that was the normal price that foreigners paid and had been agreed upon for the services that they had provided.
The lady boys said that they had met the foreigner at the Hot Tuna Bar on Walking Street where they worked. They told the foreigner that they were not genuine women and not homosexuals but had had undergone the works with breast augmentation and sex change operations. A fee of 1,500 Baht each was agreed and the ladyboys took them in their own car to a hotel in Yensabai.
After the deed was done the foreigner put on his clothes but refused to pay for the services and ran off barefoot with the lady boys in hot pursuit. After calling out for help some locals came to the aid of the unfortunate ladyboys and jumped the foreigner. The man was told that as a foreigner he should be ashamed of trying to cheat the ladyboys and he should pay up. The man paid, The lady boys were satisfied with the outcome and the foreigner left the scene rapidly.
