Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya Health Conference

On the 15th of August an International Conference on Health was held at the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya. The conference was a joint venture between two of the most prestigious universities in Thailand Chulalongkorn University and Mahidol University both of which have outstanding medical faculties that help train many of the doctors and medial professionals for work in Thailand and abroad.

The primary goal of the conference was to bring together teams of researchers from international institutions, international medical students, Health scientists and health professionals from across Thailand and from abroad to discuss, review and share knowledge on the latest health related issues and studies with regard to such topics as nutrition, exercise, obesity, cancer and the problems of ageing.

The Chairman Professor Malin presided over the meeting and gave a speech in which he said that he hoped that the conference would give everyone the opportunity to listen to the presentations to be given and be able to get together and discuss these important topics such as obesity, ageing and cancer which directly affect the quality of life for people across the nation. He also thanked the organisations and academic institutions for their cooperation in the organizing of the conference.

Later the Mayor of Pattaya Khun Itthipol addressed a meeting of conference delegates and members of national and international universities and institutions. He thanked them for their attendance at the conference in Pattaya and hoped they would be able to take away the knowledge and use it to the maximum benefit of not only the people in Thailand but also people around the world to help them lead a healthier and more fruitful life.
