Cameroon Foreigner Pattaya Bag Snatcher

On August the 8th Police Leutenant Suphan of the Pattaya police received a report from a Miss Yada aged 28 who lives in Sriracha and works as an accountant at a Honda showroom in Pattaya.

Miss Yada said that she had had her handbag snatched by a black foreigner. She had been drinking with a friend at the Flexx Club on Walking Street when she was approached by a black guy who she thought was trying to chat her up. She told him that she was leaving the club and that she was on her way home and had parked her car in the car park at Wat Chai Monkol on South Pattaya Road. The guy walked with her and span a cockemany story about him being a right winger for professional Naval football team in Rayong and that his name was Mr Enduko from Ghana.

As they got to the car park The guy then grabbed her hand bag and ran off with it. Inside the bag there was her iPhone 4S mobile phone, some important documents, car keys and 1,000 Baht in cash. The report was also sent to the Flexx Club in case he made another appearance there.

Lo and behold he did come back this time passing himself off to arresting officers as a Mr Atsin from Cameroon who also played on the right wing for a navy team in Rayong. However in a line-up witnesses were able to confirm that whatever his name he was the person who ran off with Miss Yada's bag.

Further investigations of the incident and of the Ghanaian/Cameroonian/African's true identity will be needed so that a successful prosecution can take place.
