At 2 pm on July 12th at the Central Festival Shopping Mall Pattaya Beach
The Deputy Governor of Chonburi accompanied by representatives of the Athletics Association of Thailand the Tourism Authority of Thailand and various other officials held a press conference about The Pattaya Marathon competition.
The purpose was to promote cooperation between the public and private sectors, including local residents and urge them play a role in joint tourism promotion and Leisure activities.
The race will begin on Sunday, July 21 at 4:00 pm with additional activites to take place at Central Festival Pattaya Beach. Participants in the marathon will receive numerous souvenirs as well of course medals for the winners and His Majesty the King's Trophy. Plus prize money and bonuses totalling over two million three hundred thousand Baht.
