At 3.30 pm ont the 5th of December Pattaya Running Club organized their own style of event to celebrate the 86th birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Pattaya Running Club members along with officers from Pattaya Council District 4, students and members of the public wanting to get healthy set off on a run, jog or walk, whatever they could manage that took them from the assembly point outside the Tourist Police Station in Paratumnack down the hill to South Pattaya, along second road where they turned left by Tops Supermarket down Central Pattaya road down to the beach and then down beach road past central Festival to join the growing crowd assembled outside The Royal Garden Plaza.
The last of the runners, walkers, joggers arriving just in time to join the procession down to Bali Hai where the official birthday ceremonies were conducted led by the Mayor of Pattaya Khun Itthipol.
