Sports fans and non sports were again entertained this week with further International beach soccer tournament qualifying matches being played at the multi-purpose sports court on Jomtien Beach.
Thailand came out winners in one of the qualifying games coming out on top, by a narrow margin after a high scoring game that saw Thailand winning with 11 goals and the Finnish team although scoring ten goals finishing second.
So the Thai beach football team move on to play another team in the next round and the Finnish team well they get to sit down, spectate and drown their defeat with a few beers. Winners all round I think.
