Pattaya Beach Security Meeting

Khun Rankit Ekasing The Deputy Mayor of Pattaya along with Pattaya Police Colonel Supachai convened a meeting with officers and representative departments to discuss safety and security on Pattaya Beach. Security measures are already in place but they are deemed less than efficient and productive in keeping the 2.7 Km stretch of beach and it's environs safe for the millions of International visitors who visit Pattaya every year.

Proposals were put forward to increase the number of Pattaya municipal police volunteers and units of the Tappraya 2310 Foundation who regularly patrol the area.

Of particular concern are the constant risk of muggings and criminal behaviour mainly perpetrated by ladyboys in theevening and night time periods. Maybe they could also start with examining their own Pattaya municipal police volunteers who are mysteriously all too quick to attend the scene to mediate when tourists are fleeced of thousands of Baht from mysterious jetski damage incidents.
