Nongprue Police and a unit of The Sawng Boribool Rescue Foundation were called to attend the scene of an apparent suicide of a foreigner in Nongprue District East Pattaya.
At a house in Moo Baan Central Park 5 in Nongprue they found the body of Mr. Martin Kevin Walker aged 37 an American Citizen. Mr. Walker had committed suicide by hanging himself. There was nothing at the scene to suggest that any one else was involved in the death. A friend told the police that Mr. Walker was depressed and suffering from cancer but was not aware that he was suicidal.
The body of Mr. Walker was taken to Banglamung Hospital for a full post mortem to be carried out. As is the custom The American Embassy in Bangkok has been notified of the death of one of it's citizens.
