A massive send off party took place in Nongprue District to mark the retirement of one of the most well known public servants Police Colonel Somnuek.
All the local big wigs were there. Pattaya, Nongprue, Banglamung Sherriffs, mayors, deputy mayors, assistant deputy mayors and their assistants as well as the top brass from Nongprue police station where Colonel Somnuek has had a long and distinguished career. There was also more of a smattering of senior civil servants and officials from Bangkok.
Music, food, beverages were laid on to entertain the Honoured guests, guests and not so honoured guests. A photo shoot was held so that everyone could take home a souvenir selfie with the distinguished senior constable who would no doubt be able to return home with a fine collection of fruit baskets, bouquets of flowers, bottles of Johnny Black and of course a not to be sniffed at police pension. Good luck and a happy and healthy retirement the now Khun Somneuk.
