Officers from Phanatnikhom police station in Chonburi and rescue units from the Phanatnikhom Rescue Foundation rushed to the scene of a bus accident with multiple casualties. At the scene at Km 42 on Highway 331 They found a tour bus that had left the road and ended up on it's side
There were dozens injured with 8 neading transport to the nearest hospital and the rest were given first aid on the scene by medics. The driver of the tour bus Khun Samlee aged 34 said that he was on a trip to Nakhon Ratchasima with a full compliment of passengers from a seafood factory in Rayong when the bus unexpectedly started to skid out of control and then overturned
It is not certain why the bus went out of control however it was noted that another tour bus carrying students from Udon Thani Province had crashed recently in almost the same spot.
