At 5pm on the 10th of November Police Leutenant Niphon of the Na Jomtien Police received a report of an accident at a local construction site resulting in the death of a worker. He attended the scene at the construction site in soi Jomtien Holiday in Na Jomtien.
He found a Khun Khaw aged 31 from Surin Province laying face up at the base of the building that he had been working on. A fellow worker Khun Chatree aged 26 told the police Khun Kaew had been electrocuted when he came into contact with high voltage electric cables when he was painting from scaffolding on the third floor of the building and then fallen to the ground below. The body was badly charred with burns to the left side of his body and face.
The body was transported to hospital for a post mortem to be carried out before being released to relatives for funeral rites to be carried out.
