Fatal Motorcycle Crash in East Pattaya

Banglamung police and units of The Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation were called to attend a serious road accident in East Pattaya involving a fatality and other injured.

At the scene on the railway road road by-pass near The Tamsamakee Temple they found two wrecked motorcycles one of them embedded in the rear of a Road Maintenance Truck belonging to City Hall

The rider of the embedded Yamaha Fino motorcycle was a young lady Khun Thewi aged 20 she had sustained a broken skull and had been killed instantly in the crash. The other rider of the Honda Click motorcycle was her boyfriend Khun Santi and his passenger and passenger Khun Samdee aged 19. They needed first aid from the medics on scene before being transported to Banglamung Hospital for further emergency treatment.

Enquiries revealed that the pair had been drinking with friends in Soi Korpai and were driving back home at high speed and probably intoxicated when the crash occurred.

Witnesses to the accident said that they saw  the riders of both bikes arguing heatedly as they drove close to each other before the young lady drove into the back of the truck.
