Police Lieutenant Suthipong of the Chonburi police was called to the scene of a fatal road accident at Km 3 on the Chonburi Baan Bung road at Tanbon Nongree.
At the scene he came across the body a female victim Khun Suthee aged 25 laying in the road with serious head injuries. Another victim who was seriously injured and whose identity at that time was not known had been transported already by a rescue unit in a coma.
There were two motorcycles involved. A Honda Wave that had the front end demolished and a Suzuki Smash that was laying on the ground nearby.
The father of the deceased told the police that they were returning home and were only about 200 meters from their house when they were in a collision with the other motorbike. His daughter had been thrown to the ground which had caused her to sustain the serious head injuries that led to her death.
